Job Description

•Take lead in planning, developing and implementing corporate strategies for Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

•Initiate short term & long term business plan based on strategies alignment and the vision of the organization. Development/revision of the long, medium and short term strategic objectives as per the directions of the Strategic Planning and Organizational Excellence requirements, liaise with Division Heads and translate these objectives into strategic documents.

•Establishing strategic plan which contains tangible goals, targets and plans (defining strategic KPIs and current and future projects). The position facilitates the growth of sales and profitability of the company.

•Development of Kurdistan Region of Iraq market while providing analysis and statistic to show proven strategic outcome.

•Hands on experience with strategic plans and operational execution.

•Develop analysis and strategies for various business lines in complex and ambiguous environments.

•Duties- Administrative, management and hands-on implementation of strategic and operational support to all engagements under Office of the CEO function Working as a part of CEOs Office to provide analysis, presentation, co-ordination support for improving operational efficiency and strategic planning.

•Keep track of all internal / external communications of the CEO, keep track of all the strategic and operational initiatives in the organization, do required follow-ups to help expedite the same, and keep the manager updated on the progress.

•Get involved with delivering complete Annual Planning and Budgeting Review process.

•The role is expected to understand the requirement for flexibility and accommodates shifting priorities while representing and supporting the Office of the CEO in planning, directing, managing and coordinating the organizations views and interests.

•Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and to evaluate operational effectiveness. Conducts comprehensive analysis and identifies potential opportunities, requirements, problems and solutions for Reserve support.

•Trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources. Works closely with company leadership to gain full understanding of strategic objectives, and provide input as requested.

•Analysis of complex situations, distillation of issues, developing insights, taking a position and driving to appropriate conclusions.

•Formulates documents, maintains, updates, and monitors organizational strategic maps.

•Apply established tools and methodologies to support business decision-making.

Skills

•Must be based in Sulaymaniyah.

•Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or related fields. Master’s Degree is preferred.

•Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience with a proven track record in strategy planning and strategy implementation, of which 3 are at a management level with demonstrated leadership and management.

•Strong MS Office skills.

•Kurdish is most, English & Arabic are plus.

•Solid background in strategic planning, business consulting.

•Experience in delivering business presentation and strategy plans.

•Strong understanding of utilizing various functions to achieve corporate goals.

•Excellent understanding of management principles and various organization structures Excellence in planning and execution skills with attention to detail.

•Flexibility and adaptability in a complex and dynamic environment.

•Ability to work in a professional manner, maintaining confidentiality and highest level of integrity and work ethics.

•Highly competent in terms of timeliness, accuracy of information and capability to see the big picture administration management, corporate planning, strategic planning, excellent analytical skills, quantitative management, operational management.
