Job description
- Making sure that the Centres are running well, and following the curriculum.
- Record and report the attendance of the field staff in the center, and make sure they are presenting in the exact time.
- Making sure that the weekly reports are received from the centres, and delivered to the Project Coordinator in time.
- A weekly report should be submitted by the officers to the project coordinator.
- The officers are required to work in the three locations (Sinjar, khanke, Derabon) with segregation of duties as:
- Officer is responsible for Derabon and khanke centres (and Sinjar when needed).
- Preparing and submitting procurement request (PR) of the centres as needs.
- Supporting the Finance/Log officer by purchasing needed items for the centres and delivering the salaries of the field staff.
- Delivering the needed items to the centres and following up the usage of the items.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: University Bachelor degree in a field related to community development work preferably in fields such as sociology, psychology, international or political studies, humanitarian law, public health, population studies and others. Essential Master’s degree in above related fields Preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good Research skills
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency and productivity
- A high level of diplomacy and networking skills is required Essential
- Self-starter who can work independently under pressure
- Completed a recognized personal security course in the past 3 years
- Ability to travel across the border regularly for training assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation
- Understanding of international standards including SPHERE, IYCF, emergency management, security awareness etc.
- Strong capacity building and facilitation skills
- Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible world view, emotional maturity and physical stamina
- Ability to manage work life and work without supervision
- Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
- Ability to maintain performance expectations in psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources
- Understanding of internet and email Preferred

- Experience in large scale humanitarian emergencies (2-4 years)
