PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To receive, protect, secure and dispense all supplies brought in to the pharmacy under his/her control. To
ensure proper documentation is maintained for all stocks received and dispensed
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
ROLE DIMENSION / DESCRIPTION End Results Expected TIME SPENT-
He/She will ensure the maintenance of
medicine and medical equipment’s stock
and storage.
He/She will dispense medication and
equipment under instruction from Project
Coordinator.
He/She will work closely with warehouse
manager in relation to the storage of all
medicines and medical supplies.
He/She will supervise the dispensers and
store keeper.
He/She will ensure that supplies are
available daily for the medical teams.
He/She will ensure that all daily records of
pharmacy register are maintained.
He/She will ensure that the stock register
is maintained and that there are,
minimum stocks of medical supplies for
the program.
To provide regular update of medical
stock, drug consumption and monthly
requests to Project Coordinator.
Ensure that all reporting on medical
supplies is submitted on time to WHO,
SO and Project Coordinator
Be the point person for purchasing
department in relation to purchasing of all
medical supplies
Liaise with WHO and GIK in relation to
medical supplies
Any other tasks as assigned by Project
coordinator.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the- job training.)
Education
Trained Pharmacist, qualified from recognized
center or medical certificate.
Essential
Knowledge & Skills Native Kurdish, Educated with fluency in English
and Local languages.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to
priorities.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
A good knowledge of pharmacy procedures.
Ability to manage a team and demonstrate flexibility,
motivation, and maturity
Good knowledge of quality standards and quality
controls related to pharmacy practices.
Essential
Experience Previous experience of NGO work.
Experience working with IDPs.
