PET/CT Medical Assistant

Job description 

• Making phone calls to guide patients and explaining procedures to patients
• Taking medical histories and registering patients in the system
• Issuing invoice for patients
• Preparing reposts/results for patients
• Sending daily status reports to management
• Preparing patients for the scan
• Guiding patients before and after the scan
• Placing cannula for patients
• Assisting the physician during exams
• Performing basis examinations and drawing blood and inserting and removing cannula
• Instructing patients about medication and special diets

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Diploma or bachelor degree in nursing
• Language: must speak Kurdish, Arabic; English would be advantageous
• Computer literacy especially in MS word, excel
• Good communication skills
• Flexible work hours
