Job description
- Manage the pharmaceutical stock in the warehouse ensuring that the bin and stock cards and the stock report is completed accurately on a daily basis and shared with the Logistics Manager
- In coordination with the Warehouse Officer, record the receipt and distribution of all procured and GIK medicine and medical supplies ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate
- Ensure that all medicine and medical supplies are stored per the manufacturers recommendations
- Ensure the pharmacy is labeled per the IMC standardized system
- Work with the Logistics Reporting Officer who oversees GIK to ensure accurate reporting
- Ensure that expired medicine and medical supplies are disposed of per government and IMC policy
- Ensure compliance with local government regulations for the warehousing of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
- Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly reports are submitted to the
- In coordination with the Warehouse Officer, maintain the pharmacy filing system per IMC standard procedures; ensure GIK and procured drugs are filed separately
