Job Description
MAG is seeking a qualified and experienced Logistics Officer. This position will be based in MAG logistics centre
in Erbil.
Job Duties
Effectively manage all aspects of logistics.
Effectively manage and follow all procurement policies and procedures within MAG.
Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
Maintain and develop effective supplier relationships, achieving the best possible price, quality service and
terms for MAG.
Ensure regular checks are carried out on price comparisons and that materials /items costs are monitored.
Participate in the end to end tender process; ensuring MAG procurement practice is followed at all times.
Compile and distribute weekly procurement reports to MAG Manager and communicate with them in
relation to issues regarding procurement.
Managing store and update logistics data base.
Effectively manage and follow all asset management policies and procedures within MAG.
Compile and distribute a monthly asset management report.
Selection Criteria
At least 3 years’ proven experience in logistics management preferably within an INGO.
Excellent written and spoken Kurdish and English, Arabic is a plus.
Flexible and adaptable in their manner to react to operational situations.
Strong analytical skills and accuracy with numbers and reporting
Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
Excellent computers skills in Microsoft Windows and Office.
Willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
