Job description
Provide efficient and effective logistics services to the programme in accordance with GOAL policies and procedures. Support office functions, and assist in field operations as requested.
- Ensure management and use of all information technology equipment in line with GOAL policies and procedures
- Provide training to staff on GOAL IT policies
- Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of equipment
- Establish and maintain procedures to ensure anti-virus protection and data back-up
- Support staff with IT related issues and provide guidance and suggestions for effective and appropriate use of equipment to support programme delivery
- Manage the GOAL Iraq sharepoint page and other online information sharing tools to support efficient and effective information management, back-up and archiving
- Manage the GOAL Iraq email addresses ensuring emails are set-up or cancelled as approved by the CD and training staff on how access their emails
Assets, inventory and stock:
- Responsible for managing and tracking all assets and inventory in line with GOAL policies and procedures and donor requirements
- Record all damage/faults/loss of assets and arrange repair or disposal in accordance with procedures
- Manage any warehouse or stock in line with GOAL policies and procedures ensuring accurate tracking, security and filing of all paperwork
- Prepare and submit reports as required
Facilities management (guesthouse):
- Responsible for guesthouse maintenance and repairs including managing fault reporting process
- Ensure management of the office in line with the rental contract
- Responsible for management of office utilities including ensuring payment of bills etc.
Procurement:
- Responsible for managing procurement in accordance with GOAL policies and procedures
- Develop a procurement plan together with all departments
- Maintain procurement tracking tools, files and ensure all paperwork is correctly filed
- Manage procurement contracts and ensure review and payment in accordance with contract terms
- Ensure regular communication with requestors on order status and procurement process
- Ensure templates and procedures are up-to date and serve as reference point for questions, information and training.
- Responsible to submit the OTS and any other required reports
General:
- Attend all staff meetings and provide updates on activities
- Support all staff in following GOAL logistics policies and procedures
- Develop a weekly and monthly workplan
- Provide cover for Logistics Officer (IT) during their absence
- Other duties as reasonably requested to support the efficient delivery of the programme
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- University degree
- Previous experience in logistics activities especially procurement
- Previous experience in IT
- Good level of written and spoken Kurdish, Arabic and English
- University degree in IT or computer science
- Previous NGO experience
