Job description
- Receive and consolidate grant –specific information from senior program officers
- Support the grants manager to consolidate internal documentation per grant, such as but not limited to work plans, procurement plans and HR plans
- Assist the grant manager and MEAL team in following up with senior program officers on target indicators and accurate documentation
- Follow up on grant specific procurement raised at country level in coordination with program focal points such as international pharmaceutical procurements
- Assist in the preparation and review of internal and external reporting requirements, such as situation and narrative reports
- Assist in developing organization capacity for documentation, multimedia and information usage
- Copy editing and compilation of narrative reports
- Maintain and catalogue hard copies of grant specific files throughout project life cycle– copies of site specific documentation to be submitted at country level
- Write meeting minutes at grant opening and closing meetings, trainings, and routine liaison meetings with relevant departments
- Travel to program with sites to collect documentation, as needed.
- Comply with IMC Code of Conduct.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Grants Management
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Personnel Qualifications (Special training/experience required) provide 4 of the 5 requirements:
- At least 1 year working in an NGO or private sector
- Highly proficient in written and verbal English; Kurdish and Arabic language skills a plus
- Detail oriented; ability to speed type a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Willing to work unsupervised and enforce procedures
Personnel Qualifications (Special training/experience required) :
- A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in relevant subject (English Language, Political Science, Public Health); Experience in the humanitarian field (1-2 years) preferred
- Ability to adhere to a schedule, IMC security policies, and willingness to learn and take initiative
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Experience in report writing and/or database management is desirable
