Job description
- Review all applicable drawings and specifications
- Interpret layouts, P&IDs and drawings for both electrical and instrumentation requirements
- Communicate engineering, technical, quality and safety requirements to all team individuals
- Enforce working schedule an targets of projects
- To lead and manage the contractors personnel to carry out taks pertaining to electrical and instrumentation construction activities
- To assist the Construction Manager to perform planning of labour, tools and materials
- Lead technical support activités for the start-up of new facilities and equipment
- Supervise and inspect electrical and instrumentation construction for existing Central Production Facilities, refinery, onsite buildings and common facilities
- Inspects the works carried out by contractors to ensure they have been executed to an acceptable DNO or relevant international standard
- Performs daily work activities, in accordance with his individual job/task procedures, checking that the quality of the work is acceptable before the equipment is returned to service
- Ensures the availability and proper installation and commissioning of all electrical and instrument utilities, rotating machines etc.
- Ensure that routine construction procedures are followed correctly and recorded
- Maintain safe work environment and ensure that team members adhere to safe working practices
- Observe and comply with existing company codes and policies and safety rules and regulations
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Bachelor degree or relevant Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Previous working experience in Kurdistan or MENA region is preferred
