Duties and Responsibilities
.
The Driver is responsible for transporting safely passengers and materials.
Transport people and goods ensure their security.
Respect the safety rules at all times.
Follow REACH protocols and procedures at all times.
Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition.
Carry out all necessary check-ups of the vehicle to ensure proper maintenance.
Help loading / unloading materials from / to his vehicle.
Report any accidents, damage or mechanical defects immediately.
Driver/ Mechanic is often expected to stay overnight in rural and remote areas of Iraq.
Person Specification
Valid general driving license.
Ability to read and write in Kurdish and English.
Arabic is an asset.
Strong understanding of security and safety on roads
Previous experience in similar position, ideally within an international organization.
Basic knowledge / practice of mechanics is an asset.
Knowledge of Sulaymaniyah city and surroundings.
Knowledge of other regions is an asset.
Punctual, honest, hard worker and reliable.
